Meet the Principal

Duane Noeske is from Valley City North Dakota. He graduated from Valley City State University with a B.S. in Education in 1987 with a degree in Business Education and Physical Education. His education career started in Clear Lake, South Dakota as a teacher and coach at Deuel School District.

In 2000, he graduated from South Dakota State University with a M.ED in Educational Leadership.

In 2001, he started his administrative career as K-12 principal at Kimball School district, in Kimball South Dakota.

In 2008, he became assistant principal at Williston Middle School, and now is the Principal.

He enjoys seeing students succeed in whatever they do, whether it be excelling in the classroom or in athletic competition. He and his wife Deb have three children, Whitney, Markus and Avery. They also have two grandsons.  In his spare time, he enjoys being outside camping, fishing, hunting and gardening.
