Brazil
Mrs. Branham’s 7th grade global studies classes spent two weeks creating informational boards about South American countries.  They worked in small groups studying specific attributes about each country including: economy, government, history, culture, physical features, climate, challenges the country is facing, and currency.

Students had the option to present their informational boards to the whole class or in small group format. Students also completed peer observation papers while listening to the presentations.

As a fun (and optional) addition to the project, students had the option to make a food item native to the country they were studying to bring in to share with the class.  Shoutout to all the adults in their lives who helped create these fabulous dishes!  As you can see from the photos, the food was such a huge hit that sometimes the best we got for photos were empty containers!
